International Traditional Arts Symposium is supported by two sharer university. These universities are University of Mimarsinan Fine Arts as local and Georgia Tbilisi Sokhumi University as non-local. As Department of Textile, Clothing, Shoes and Leather, investigation of yesterday, today and tomorrow of traditional arts, survival of these arts and transference to the next generations are among our important duties. With the symposium, the interaction between universities from local and non-local, private sector and representatives of state institutions and organization will be enhanced. Also the symposium will offer the young researches opportunity to meet and consult the idea with expert scientists from different fields. Therefore, protecting of traditional arts will be provided. We thanks to sharer universities, members of scientific board, members of executive board, supporters, school management and university management contributing to the symposium aimed to work, consult and produce together.
